Temp DA is a fully registered and licensed Dental Assistant specific staffing agency and coaching service.
Our staff are qualified or sufficiently experienced Dental support personal; available to service both the public and private dental practice throughout the Melbourne and Darwin region.
Temp DA covers all legal responsibilities of our Dental staff including pay, superannuation taxes, insurance and immunizations. All you have to do is enjoy the smooth operation of your day and let us do the staffing work for you.

Temp DA's mission is to provide an excellent Dental Staffing Agency.
We aim to add valuable knowledge and education to the Dental Assisting community. Our objective is to contribute to an industry wide improvement of dental staff retention and quantity of high performance dental assistants who actively contribute to the success in our Australian dental practices!
Our Director
Our Director Tamara Lamplugh has almost ten years industry experience as a Dental Assistant, as well as Front Office Coordinator roles and a Practice Manager. Tamara has first hand experience with the ongoing needs of a dental practice. Temp DA understands appropriate staffing is crucial to the success of the day to day operations in the dental office.

Tamara's career as a Dental Assistant started in one of the best dental practices in Australia. The type of clinic every practice aspires to be. This practice has accomplished long term staff retention of 20+ years, highly skilled dental assistants that were actively involved with all elements of the business, continued growth and expansion solemnly through word of mouth referrals and EXCEPTIONAL customer service- no website required. The books were simply too full. A business that boasts quality, efficiency and enormous financial success. This kind of practice is what every clinic practice strives to be and more.
Since moving on from that practice she has worked in a vast range of dental environments on both a permanent and temporary basis. Tamara has had the opportunity to work in 40+ clinics across Australia including everything from private boutique style clinics in Melbourne, to public indigenous dental health in remote communities of the Northern Territory.
One thing Tamara has noted to be consistently missing in the industry is upskilled career minded dental personnel with the knowledge to proactively assist the dentist through treatment facilitation and four handed dentistry.
Dental assistants are far too often not operating at their full potential. This consequently results in an industry wide dental assistant shortage, due to high dental staff turnover, short term careers in dentistry and the unfortunate missed opportunity of recognizing what a career as a super star dental assistant truly has to offer.
Super Star DA qualities are simply not something we are taught in Dental Assisting school.
